My Story

My passion for natural health began during an encounter with asthma when I was a competitive gymnast. I was taken to see a Naturopath at age 11 and was amazed with the results. My grandparents also owned a successful health farm out in West Melton in the 1990's and it was there that I observed the transforming effect of a nutritious diet combined with exercise and meditation. In particular my grandmother's philosophy on health and wellbeing greatly inspired me and played a major role in the direction I chose.

In 2010 I graduated from the Canterbury College of Natural Medicine with a Diploma in Clinical Herbal Medicine. I then furthered my education at the South Pacific College of Natural Medicine where I received a Bachelor of Natural Medicine. I am a member of the New Zealand Association of Medical Herbalists, a professional organisation for qualified medical herbalists and naturopaths. To maintain membership, continuing professional education is required to keep up to date with the latest research in the natural health industry. This is obtained through the attendance of seminars, webinars and conferences.

In addition to running natural health clinics in Wanaka and Christchurch, between 2012 and 2017 I worked as a representative and educator for two of Australasia's leading manufacturers of natural medicine. Providing business and educational support for practitioners, health shops and pharmacies in the South Island was a truly rewarding period of my life, and it reinforced my views on the importance of quality, efficacy and purity of natural medicines.

In my clinic today, I provide a supportive environment where we work together to maximise your health potential through the use of wholesome food, herbal medicine, nutritional supplements and clinical testing.
